1. Combat Strategies
Doomlight can block enemy rounds with Photon Shield. Return fire with Photon Cannon to gain Massive Advantage in the exchange.
Additionally, activating the Photon Wall Core 2 Module enables Photon Turrets to Chain-Attack and expand the area of strike.
2. Modules
Every Mecha has four Module Skills: Attack Defense, Propulsion, and Core, that can be freely allocated out of combat. After allocation, the appropriate module must be found in the Arena to activate the skill. Every module type ranged from level 1-3 (Green, Blue, Purple) to activate skills of different levels.
Tips
This is recommended modules for Doomlight:
In this configuration, Rapid Pulse improves shoot velocity for primary weapon. It makes easier to hit target with primary weapon. High Alert modules increases attack area of Photon Turrets, so it makes harder for enemy to avoid turrets attack. Ion March module increases speed of Jump. This module helps to dodge enemy attacks when your Shield disappear. At the same time, it makes your jump higher, and this is helps to jump on high buildings.
Core 1 Scatterbeam modules works great for Doomlight.
The problem with Core 2 Module: you need to put all 3 photon turrets to get damage bonus from core 2. But usually enemies remove some of your turrets, and then Core 2 damage bonus disappears too.
3. Tech setup
Each player has a different style of play, so it is better to choose the modules that are right for you. if you are an experienced player, I ask you to write in the comments your Nickname and the Modules, Tech setup & Pilot talent that you use. This way we will be able to collect tips and tech configurations of different alpha players.
Tips
Here’s example of Tech Setup for Movement Speed and Shoot Velocity:
Hyperfire | Long-range damage +1.5%, Shot Velocity +2% |
Penetration Command | Damage Bonus with High DUR +1.8%, Shot Velocity +2% |
Efficient Reload | Area of Explosion +2%, Shot Velocity +2% |
Efficient Transmission | Movement Speed +1.8%, Reload Rate +3% |
Concurrent Power Supply | Movement Speed +1.8%, Fuel Recovery +1.8% |
Defense Optimizaion | DUR +1%, Item Use Speed +6% |
Since Doomlight have very Slow Movement Speed, Its good to improve it with Tech Modules. Same with Shoot Velocity. Doomlight’s damage already decent, but hardly to hit enemies with slow primary weapon. Shoot velocity helps a lot to hit target.
While other fast Mecha like Arthur can run away and use repair device – Doomlight can’t do this.
But Doomlight can put a Shield, and try to use repair device during battle. In this case Item Use Speed +6% really helps.
Feel free to change this configuration for yourself.
Also, write in Comments section which Tech modules you use and why?
4. Pilot Ability
Doomlight is Heavy Armed Mecha, and Ning’s ability with DUR Bonus suits good for better defense.
5. Tactical Terminals
Any of this Tactical Terminal works great for Doomlight:
Fiery Instinct:
For better Movement Speed and Mobility.
Energy Field:
Great Terminal overall. If your Mecha Full HP and you use repair device, then it makes additional temporary Shield for Doomlight, this is very good for defense.
Race Against Time:
It makes all items & repair devices activation 30% faster. This is very good, if you put Doomlight’s shield, then you can use repair device during battle.
Strike Back, Eye for an Eye:
Great for significant damage bonus.
