1. Combat strategies

Firefox can benefit from defensive evasion to launch a CQC against enemies.
After activating the Raging Missile Core 2 Module
The number of missiles and Fire rate dramatically increase for the Mecha to capitalise on the terrain.
And use Charge skill to close in on a target’s flank for a quick kill.

2. Modules

Every Mecha has four Module Skills: Attack Defense, Propulsion, and Core, that can be freely allocated out of combat. After allocation, the appropriate module must be found in the Arena to activate the skill. Every module type ranged from level 1-3 (Green, Blue, Purple) to activate skills of different levels.

Tips

If you don’t know what modules to use, you can use this configuration:

In this configuration, Super Jet increases distance of Dash, Leap Enhancement increases Height of Leap – it helps to dodge enemy attacks. Also Height of Leap helps to jump on buildings.
And Precise Shot reduces spread of bullets. But other module Fiery Chamber works very good too – it makes clip capacity bigger.

3. Tech setup

Each player has a different style of play, so it is better to choose the modules that are right for you. if you are an experienced player, I ask you to write in the comments your Nickname and the Modules, Tech setup & Pilot talent that you use. This way we will be able to collect tips and tech configurations of different alpha players.

Tips

If you are confused or a beginner, and do not know which modules to use, then here some recommended Tech setup:

Melee Components	Short-range damage +1.80%, Damage Bonus vs. Shield +3%
Assault Program	Short-range damage +1.80%, Rate of Fire +1.20%
Bombardment Chip	Rate of Fire +1.20%, Accuracy +2.40%
Defense Optimization	DUR +1%, Item use Speed +6%
Impact Armor	DUR +1%, Short-Range DR +2%
Augment Shield	Shield +2%, Shield DR +2.5%

In this Firefox Tech Setup, Melee Components & Rate of Fire modules gives significant damage bonus.
Since Firefox close range and Heavy Armed Mecha, its need good Defense to survive in close range. So, this Tech Setup optimised for Defense.

Feel free to change this configuration for yourself.

4. Pilot Ability

Firefox Pilot – Ning. And Ning’s ability “Hive infrastructure” (DUR Bonus) suits very well for Firefox.
Firefox need this DUR bonus for close range battles.

But also Rom ability works good for Firefox. It reduces cool down time of Firefox dash skill. And every time when Firefox uses Dash, it makes additional temporary Shield. It gives more mobility and more time under shield during battle.

Any of this Tactical Terminals works well for Firefox, for better Defense and Damage:

Energy Field:
If your Mecha Full HP and you use repair device, then it makes additional temporary Shield for Firefox, this is very good for Defense.

Race Against Time:
If you want to use repair device while fighting, it can helps a lot.

Homogenizing Siphon:
Firefox often fights in close range, and sometime there is no time to use repair device. If you destroyed one mecha, it automatically Regenerates 10% DUR. So you still able to continue battle against other enemies mecha.

Strike Back, Eye for an Eye:
This Terminals works good for Damage bonus.
