Raven is a mysterious hunter who travels through the battlefield silently with its Chainhook to deal lethal blows to its enemies when they don’t expect it.
When Raven draws its long bow, high-energy particles start charging in the oscillating magnetic field and are fired as merciless arrows that pierce their prey before they can react.
Thoughts like “Just get close to Raven and you’ll be fine” are naturally too naive as Raven’s fast spread shot has sent countless people to an early death.

1. Combat Strategies
In the shadows Raven uses its Chainhook to get the High Ground advantage. So it can engage enemies with its charged projectiles. The Range and Damage of its fully charged projectiles inspires fear in your enemies as they cut through the sky at extreme speed.
Moreover, as Raven hovers when charging a shot it can position itself wherever it wants in the air to dodge enemy attacks, while launching precise attacks of its own.
Even in close combat Raven can shoot several volleys of its Spread Shot quickly to overwhelm its enemies.
And then widen the distance between with its Chainhook, before fully drawing its bow to end them.
2. Modules
Every Mecha has four Module Skills: Attack Defense, Propulsion, and Core, that can be freely allocated out of combat. After allocation, the appropriate module must be found in the Arena to activate the skill. Every module type ranged from level 1-3 (Green, Blue, Purple) to activate skills of different levels.
Tips
Here’s example of good modules configuration for Raven:
Explosive Arrow increases explosion range of arrows. Its helps to hit enemies Mecha, but also it helps to defeat pilots inside buildings.
Life Drain. Raven one of the Mecha with very good Life Drain ability. Every time when you dealing damage, it will recover your DUR qual to 4%/6%/8% of the damage dealt. Raven Battle Features: Continuous attacks and Snipe. And it is very good to recover DUR during these continuous attacks.
Track. This module gives a damage bonus to the primary weapon. Other module – Death Knell – works better for close range and secondary weapon. But when you playing Raven much better to keep some distance from enemy, and in this case Track module more useful.
Core 1 Auto Charge module highly recommended for Raven. Its auto-charges primary weapon and reduces arrow charge time significantly.
3. Tech setup
Each player has a different style of play, so it is better to choose the modules that are right for you. if you are an experienced player, I ask you to write in the comments your Nickname and the Modules, Tech setup & Pilot talent that you use. This way we will be able to collect tips and tech configurations of different alpha players.
Tips
Raven already got decent damage. But you need to spend time charging each arrow. Therefore, you must aim well and try to make sure that each arrow hits your target. The shoot velocity can help to hit the enemies more easily. Its much easier to hit target with +6% velocity of arrows.
At the same time Raven is designed to jump and shoot in the air, it requires extra Fuel to hover in air and charge arrows. It will be good to use Fuel Tech modules.
Also Raven’s Life Drain ability from purple modules gives only up to 8% Life Drain. If we improve Life Drain percentage with Tech Modules, it will be more noticeable 8 + 2.4 = 10.4% in Total.
You can also use additional 10% Life Drain bonus in Granbelm and Hacker Intrusion mode.
So, here’s Raven Tech setup focused on Shoot Velocity, Life Drain and Fuel:
Efficient Reload | Area of Explosion +2%, Shot Velocity +2% |
Hyperfire | Long-range damage +1.5%, Shot Velocity +2% |
Penetration Command | Damage Bonus with High DUR +1.8%, Shot Velocity +2% |
Improved Fuel Tank | Max Fuel +2%, Fuel Recovery +1.8% |
Self-healing Liner | Life Drain on attacks +1.2%, Low-DUR DR +2.5% |
First Response Unit | Life Drain on attacks +1.2%, Shield Recovery +2% |
4. Pilot Ability
Since Raven designed to jump and shoot in the air, it requires extra Fuel to hover in air and charge arrows. Because a Raven that does not jump is a very easy target for enemies.
Joanna’s ability Expeditious Charge with Fuel bonus suits very good for this mecha.
5. Tactical Terminals
Any of this Tactical Terminals works good for Raven:
Never Give Up:
The mecha will not drop modules when destroyed. This is highly recommended terminal for Raven players. Raven very Core – dependent mecha, and if someone destroyed you and you lost your Core modules – Raven become weak. So its good to save Core module once you found it.
Treasure Assault:
Damage bonus for every airdrop opened. Anyway you will go for Airdrops to get Core module for Raven, so its good to get damage bonus from opened air drops.
Energy Field:
Great Terminal overall. If your Mecha Full HP and you use repair device, then it makes additional temporary Shield for Raven, this is very good for Defense.
Crazy Doll:
Additional damage bonus.
Fiery Instinct:
Movement Speed can helps you to keep distance from enemy.
