Developed by the Unzan Center, Ventorus is the personal mecha of the Master Jiu Chong. Besides an impressive debut in Super Mecha Champions, Ventorus can also be seen showing off its might worldwide (usually fighting crimes and other good deeds), and paying off the collateral damage it caused with League winnings, which made it somewhat of an anti-hero.
The unorthodox appearance and fighting style could not be traced in any record of mecha documents, and even Urzan itself is a rather obscure rural workshop.
However, whether it’s the missile with dark energy, the enigmatic generator, or the incredibly fast melee attacks, nobody can ignore the fear Ventorus inspires on the battlefield.

1. Combat Strategies
In Cruise Mode with Twin Dragons on its shoulders, Ventorus will constantly harass and bombard the opponent with bursts of Gale Missiles. Wearing out the target at mid-range it then adopts Berserk Dragon mode. By using fists with the Twin Dragons closes in on the prey with blinding speed. And end the fight using a furious spread of air blasts and black-energy Dragon Claws.
2. Modules
Every Mecha has four Module Skills: Attack Defense, Propulsion, and Core, that can be freely allocated out of combat. After allocation, the appropriate module must be found in the Arena to activate the skill. Every module type ranged from level 1-3 (Green, Blue, Purple) to activate skills of different levels.
Tips
When Ventorus is in Dragon form, it gains a significant bonus to Movement speed and can fire without reloading. So, here’s modules configuration optimised for more time in Dragon form:
Fighting Dragon increases explosion area for secondary weapon. And since secondary weapon deals a lot of damage, its good to be sure that your secondary weapon hit target.
Demonic Dragon modules increases time in Dragon form.
Berserk Dragon increases Movement Speed in Dragon form. This helps a lot to keep distance from dangerous enemy like Arthur, Firestar and Hotsteel.
Core 2 Mighty Dragon module recommended for Ventorus because it reduces cooldown time for Dragon form. other Core 1 Tidal Waves module gives damage bonus for Dragon Claws Attack, but this bonus is not significant.
3. Tech setup
Each player has a different style of play, so it is better to choose the modules that are right for you. if you are an experienced player, I ask you to write in the comments your Nickname and the Modules, Tech setup & Pilot talent that you use. This way we will be able to collect tips and tech configurations of different alpha players.
Tips
Ventorus have good enough mobility and skills, but sometime it requires to fight close range. And for close-range attacks Ventorus defense too bad. Let’s try to improve defense with Tech modules.
Here’s Tech setup focused on Damage and Close-Range Defense:
Melee Components | Short-range damage +1.80%, Damage Bonus vs. Shield +3% |
Assault Program | Short-range damage +1.80%, Rate of Fire +1.20% |
Bombardment Chip | Rate of Fire +1.20%, Accuracy +2.40% |
Defense Optimizaion | DUR +1%, Item Use Speed +6% |
Impact Armor | DUR +1%, Short-range DUR +2% |
Self-healing Liner | Life Drain on attacks +1.2%, Low-DUR DR +2.5% |
4. Pilot Ability
Sometimes Vantorus needs to fight at close range, but has too little HP to fight at close range. So Ning’s ability with the DUR bonus can work well for this mecha.
5. Tactical Terminals
All of this Tactical Terminals works good for Ventorus:
Energy Field:
Great Terminal overall. If your Mecha Full HP and you use repair device, then it makes additional temporary Shield for Ventorus., this is very good for better defense.
Fiery Instinct:
For better Movement Speed and Mobility.
Homogenizing Siphon:
This Terminal regenerates 10% max DUR after destroying enemy mecha. This is very good for additional defense.
Strike Back, Eye for an Eye:
Terminals with damage bonus works great for Ventorus.
